The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) made this claim in a new Instagram video shared on April 11, 2018.
In it, Pastor Adeboye says, “Make it clear to them. Anyone who is not paying his tithe is not going to heaven. Full stop.”

On a fair stand with a sharp contrapuntal , the church is not totally culpable for all the societal mess we see today.The cultural and traditional making up of Nigeria gave a enough sea room for a lot of problems we see today and almost every institutions has taken advantage of this. Islam on the other hand has its own insane contribution too , and so does the people who stands with idols too etc - science has been able to proof that the average brain functionality of Muslim Arabs youths suffers from some certain conditions and that also apply to Nigeria.- all these institutions has been used and abused by its operators -but sure thanks to the followers who keeps adding fuel to their stoker.
I am not just looking at this from only tithe aspect - am looking ....... - nrealarthurlooking at this from only tithe aspect - am looking at it from a total person, mental and societal panoramic view. Yes , a lot of churches are not doing enough and some are falling. It is delusional to think that the church has the answers to all the societal oddities. The church alone can not proffer a prophylactic panacea and cure-all to fix the whole mess. the pressure is focus on one side , which is good thing for sure , it will create am imbalance build up - Sir, Freeze can not do everything perhaps we need more like him in other areas too. Here is what happens , the Africans traditional worship has destroyed , we thought the destruction of that will solve the problem, Christianity and Islam was built on the ruins of the Africans traditional worship system but we are here today with more much a bigger issue on our hands. If the traditional cum mental imprint is totally destroyed, no matter what comes ups- it will be the same old uncle Sam. When tithe is over something far more worst will raise from the ruins of tithe because the ideologically imprint will always remain - all they need to do is reshape , repaint and resell in new ways and Nigeria has always will line up to buy it up on retail..
